Life is good, especially with my wonderful husband, Joe, of almost 19 years by my side! Our family circle recently grew even sweeter with the arrival of our granddaughter, America Grace, born to our daughter who calls Wichita Falls home – a truly heartwarming chapter. While I hail from the wide-open spaces of the Texas Panhandle, my husband is a proud Wichita Falls native. Our paths intertwined in Austin back in 2005, where we both found ourselves immersed in the residential mortgage scene. Austin held our hearts for over 25 years before we made the move to Wichita Falls in 2017. For a time, we embraced the flexibility of remote work with a mortgage banker out of Chicago. However, the shifting landscape of the mortgage industry in July 2023 led to unexpected changes. But every challenge brings new opportunities, and for us, it sparked the exciting creation of Next Level Golf. And the story continues! I've found a fantastic new professional home in the Member Business Lending division at Union Square Credit Union, and after a year in, I can honestly say I'm thoroughly enjoying it

My journey into the world of golf, and subsequently, the creation of Next Level Golf, started with a simple desire: to actually learn how to play! My husband thoughtfully gifted me golf clubs a few years ago, and our initial attempts at the driving range were… well, let's just say they highlighted my need for serious improvement! After a few sun-drenched sessions chasing after less-than-perfect shots, I was convinced there had to be a more efficient and less intimidating way to grasp the fundamentals. That's when my online exploration began. I immersed myself in articles, videos, and anything golf-related I could find. And then, the discovery: golf simulators! It was the answer I didn't even fully know I was looking for. Imagine the possibilities: data-driven practice, instant swing feedback, club analysis, all within the privacy and comfort of an indoor environment. What started as a personal quest for a better way to learn quickly evolved. We recognized the immense value and appeal of this technology, and the concept for Next Level Golf – a place where anyone could learn and improve – began to take shape.

After leaving banking after 25 years I stayed home for a few months (and that’s wasn’t for me!) I needed to find something to do. I had gone to my hairdresser & she had a small space available for rent in her salon. After talking to her for a short time about opening a boutique in that space, she agreed so I went home to discuss with my husband and within a couple of weeks, Savvy Gurlz was being formed -getting all the legal stuff done, going to a Dallas Market (not having a clue what I was doing) I opened the doors in August 2013.
