I have been an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for over ten years, but my passion is reading books, talking about books, and dreaming about books. I have always been an avid reader and finding a community of readers has been an absolute joy. My ultimate goal is to own a brick and mortar bookshop that hosts author events, community gatherings and has a resident bookstore cat. I am originally from Philadelphia (Go Birds). The name Lost and Found Books is a nod to those of us who needed to take a new, different path in life and the light that comes when it is found. It is an homage to that feeling you get when you find that perfect book you've been looking for in the bottom of a bin (that aha! moment). It is the feeling you have when you find a home away from what you think of as your home.

Working in the Emergency Room throughout COVID changed my life completely. It gave me the opportunity to learn things about myself that I never imagined. I found myself reading constantly and finally purchased a Kindle to keep up. It made me realize that reading was a lifeline in my darkest time. When I moved to WF, I hoped to work in a cozy bookstore but found there were none. I thought to myself-- let ME be the bookstore. I decided to try a pop-up bookstore and reached out to local businesses in Wichita Falls to help me host events.
