I was in banking for 25 years before opening my store front. I not only have the brick and mortar store but I also do tradeshows setting up a booth to sell all the things. I have been doing the Junior League Christmas Magic since 2013 after only being opened 3 months. I also go to OKC to do a few shows there plus some smaller surrounding towns. I have been married to my husband, Dee for 21 years. I have one son, Rob & his wife Tori and they have blessed me with my beautiful granddaughter, Hazley. I love spending time with family and friends anytime just relaxing, traveling or just having a great time

My mission is to help all the ladies (from the young girls to the more mature) to find an outfit they are comfortable in or maybe to even step out of their comfort zone. I love being involved in the community supporting any other small businesses in town or even in surrounding towns

After leaving banking after 25 years I stayed home for a few months (and that’s wasn’t for me!) I needed to find something to do. I had gone to my hairdresser & she had a small space available for rent in her salon. After talking to her for a short time about opening a boutique in that space, she agreed so I went home to discuss with my husband and within a couple of weeks, Savvy Gurlz was being formed -getting all the legal stuff done, going to a Dallas Market (not having a clue what I was doing) I opened the doors in August 2013.
